My own BEEEG update!

So news first and then we'll get on to pics!

I mentioned to the landlord that I smelled mold every time the heater came on and now they are tearing our basement apart and completely re-doing everything....Makes me think there might have been some toxic mold down there and that might have been causing my headaches.

Also, as much as I love writing my own stories, I've decided to try to co-write a series. Another author lady approached me and proposed it. We still have to work out a lot of details, especially the financials, but we are starting a paranormal romance series of modern adaptations of classic stories. Starting with Red Riding Hood. :) It's been done plenty of times before of course, but this is just kind of way to see if we can make money.
You have to pump out a lot of books and have a big backlist to have any hope of making money, and both of us individually are too slow. It's also harder to get past writer's block alone, so the idea is the other person can pick up where you left off. I'm committing to 3 books, but either of us can back out any time. I hope this works out...and I hope it makes it easier to get off the ground alone once I do. I also hope it's such a good experience that sometime me & you can do the same thing!

Speaking of, I made my first book cover!! Cart before the horse, of course lol, but I'm sincerely hoping I do finally self-publish my book this month. As soon as I get done editing, I'll be asking you to beta read! Soooo as much I would like to stay anonymous to everyone, forever, here's my cover and pen name:

The text will change before publishing because I'm not happy with it....But it'll be a small change.

Our cabin trip for Gary's birthday was cold and rainy, but fun. Not possible to truly relax with bored kids around (and bears!!) but I do think it helped a little. So, pics!

Hi! :) Never enough pictures of me & him together.

You can't tell by the pic, but those waves were HUGE.
Like, ocean huge. Lots of surfers! 0.0

 Pretty fishing spot.

You can't tell by the pic, but they were really misbehaving this walk.
Lol.

Miles and miles of misty, rocky beach along Lake Huron.

Gary has MUCH better pictures on his phone - my new, cheaper phone camera sucks. :( So there will be another post with even more pictures!
