How are you doing? Any better? I hope so.
I know you probably don't feel like it yet, but I look forward to a post soon. I have no real news - migraines are coming back and I cut my hair off! This is actually the shortest I've had it since I was a kid, but I like it surprisingly much. It's a messy cut, which means I don't have to do anything but brush it. Plus, keeping my hair up all the time was giving me hairline baldness, but I didn't really like wearing my hair down at all before. SO now I wear it down all the time, and lose no more hair. :p
I've been putting pics on facebook lately, which is not nearly as fun as posting them here, but at least you get to see them too.
I signed up for NaNoWriMo this month, so I'm trying to finish a book by December. I went back to the Elemental story hoping this would push me to finish it. Gargoyles are still on the table, just for the future. I made an author website and FB page, just so I can network with some of the author ladies I know, and hopefully have some of their wisdom and success rub off on me. One of them writes BDSM, so if you need book recs let me know. :p I haven't figured out what I'm writing yet in terms of niches or heat level, but I'm doing it anyways.
And also trying to write for money, which is NOT going well. Everything in the money department is so effed right now to tell the truth. Late on rent, hundreds behind in bills, blah.
Weight is stable, but that's not great, I want it to go down! I've been at the same weight now for about 2 months, and I know what the problem is, just having trouble fixing it with our food budget. Trying to look on the bright side though, no gain is good! And so is the fact that my ultimate goal is only 30 lbs away, so even if I'm stalled right now, hopefully I can get that goal in this coming year. Finally feels like a possibility.
I hope you and the family are starting to recover from your heartsickness a little bit. I love you, call or post or email or text or whatever when you feel up to it!

Now that I cut my long hair off I can see all kinds of new hair growing on my front hairline and on my part.
