I am having fun having some money come in since I buy a bottle of perfume materials every once in awhile. I am trying to make another perfume for you but we'll see if I like anything lol.
Good news bad news is my computer mobo died but some friends gave us parts. So now I have a new to me mobo, processor, video card. Best thing is that combined with my old vid card I have a server up and running again. Maybe I'll do something cool with it or play Minecraft again soon.
I took an online perfumery course and to finish it off I wrote 5 perfume haiku's and a history of perfume from the stone ages. I will post it and I hope you will read it.

Triple barrel hot dogs. There is a hot dog in each bun!! I got soooo addicted to these. Steve made them probably 5 times in two weeks and we even made them for Mamma.
Stevie put up a new knife rack and bought a new knife for me. I am still having trouble doing anything with my right arm including wielding giant dull knives to cut up squash lol
This beauty is my precious. Monster sharp and only 5 inches long. Lovely folded steel and made for pinch grip. I'm in love with it!
Steve made the meat and I chopped sooooo many veges with knife. Then we ate them with salad and I also ate them the entire rest of the week in tuna salad for work lunches
I even chopped fruit for a crumble cobbler.

It's okay sis, I understand about the job. I don't ven have a job right now, but I feel stretched thin almost every day. So you have my sympathy and understanding!

Willow owuld really like to see the big things you've made in Minecraft. I know you've shared a few pictures here, and I've showed her, but do you have an album somewhere or something? With all the stuff you've built? She is crazy about MC. :p You could even make a dropbox folder if you want.

Nice Knife!! It will now be featured in my 5th book lol, which is now about a Chef who falls in love with a plant elemental. I'm having lots of fun daydreaming their first meeting, where the skinned carrots and decapitated cabbage are out on the counter and she's hacking them into little pieces with that very knife. Lol.
PLEASE please tlel me how you made that flower pic. I'm begging. I like my covers as they are, but if all goes well I'll have to make some more. And that is just so omg amazing, that I need to learn. *begs* plus Im trying to get some extra money since I can't find a job, and I'm going to try offering simple, cheap covers to some newbie author friends.

The other big deal with money is my prescriptions are almost 200$ per month and that is with insurance. So that's one of the big reasons I got a job was to pay for meds, pay for pt, and take the pressure off of Steve.
DeleteThat and I need meds to live I guess lol They honestly don't know quite what's wrong with me. I have good everything but I have some weird enzyme problem. It makes me unable to pee which in effect gives me heart failure. This drug is 358 without insurance and they don't want to cover it and tried to stop and say I should take alternatives like metformin *eyeroll, but this is the only type of drug that deals with that specific enzyme so my Doctor really did advocate for me and let them know I had to have it.
I will totally make a drop box folder with for willow. I would love to show my cool niece!
The triple barrel hot dogs use a sheet of croissant dough from the biscuit section, One time I went to a store and they didn't have it so I use regular croissant dough and I just had to be gentle with it so as to not pull it apart. But it worked!!
They are really fast to make. You just unroll the dough and turn it length ways. Cut off the extra top 2 or so inches. Cut in half and roll a hot dog in each of the 4 sides. Place one in the middle of two. Brush with a egg wash and bake at 400 for 15 minutes. The best thing is they are good with many toppings. Yes cheese and chilli but also plain mustard and ketchup, also barbecue sauce and even marinara. for me it literally takes 20 minutes start to finish. To make it go further we sometimes have it with salad.

egg wash
cheese
condiments
egg wash and then sprinkle spices
400 for 15 mins
Haha that's so funny! I love your daydreams! I really love my knife. It's very unique. The metal tang goes through the center of ebony wood and because it's a pinch grip it doesn't have that hook at the end to keep your hand from slipping off. Instead it just gets bigger. It's so angular and sexy that way lol
For the avatar pic I've made a whole series of them. You've seen the pretty pink flower and the pretty purple and blue ones? But I guess this one is better lol I don't really have a method. I just recolor and use blending layers and nudge it to pretty land. The main thing I did is there is probably 10 source photos or textures in there. The flower is my own pic but the other layers are all sourced. I had another picture of flower stamens because mine had a ragged one. Lots of the textures are things like fractals that have glowing in them for the contrast. Some of them were boring textures but then I burned them to give them the proper contrast. Honestly just played with it lol. I can send the file later or a list of blending mods or what?
