So much rain here the lake rose 30 ft and flooded entire countryside and makes it look like another state.
Funny to me this looks like minecraft. Such straight lines between islands. Only that was a road carved between cliffs lol
Lake is so full they are purposefully flooding more land.
Water is so high it's starting to threaten the wall of the dam.

Jenny looks lazy here but she was just taking a break.
They made smoked chicken, corn, bacon wrapped poppers. OMG smoked corn is good.
Wow - that's some crazy flooding! It's going to take forever for it to go back to normal there. But the lake house seems/looks fun! What was your favorite thing you did that week? I need to vacation vicariously through you. :p
ReplyDeleteMy Favorite was we got dragged in the boat to the lake in a tractor and got launched. We drove up and down the length of the lake and hit hard waves. Bounced up and down and my knees got sunburnt lol
DeleteWe found a small beach just a flat wash of a cliff really, so we anchored the boat and put up a canopy half in the water. We sat in the shade in the water or in the chair in the water. We had chips and drinks and everyone else had beer and I had made two travel Amaretto sours. The puppy was with us and we played with him. I spent a lot of time in the lake swimming with a hat on lol
Also we found a wall that was a frog apartment. Tiny little holes with tiny frogs in it. I caught a salamander and it just chilled out on my finger.
