Hi Sis!
Actually I lie, I thought of a huge thing for my update. I have not had a migraine for almost 2 weeks! After suffering them almost daily, sometimes more than once a day, they have disappeared. 0.0
No idea why, but I am thankful. Now it doesnt matter if my room is too cold at night, or if I drink caffeine, or eat sugar free candies. It's so weird though. Still keeping my dr appointment, but I doubt they'll do anything.
And of course, now I have a different problem that showed up pretty soon after the migraines quit! I've often gotten random fevers that the only other symptom is horrible body aches. They're from bacteria getting up in the tiny loop where they did my liver repair. Haven't had them in a really long time though. 6 months at least, and maybe a year. But I've had two now, a week a part, and will need to ask for antibiotics to get them to go away. I hope my dr will listen to me when I come to him with a laundry list of problems, I feel like any time I've done that before, I get tuned out and nothing gets resolved.
As for everything else, I'm chugging away really slowly on my new story, and still trying to edit my old one. I put a tiny excerpt up for critique on a writing forum I frequent, and got really good comments. It was a short story about the day Gary came to Tx. I'll let you read it sometime if you want. I'm getting more comfortable with it thanks to those ladies on the forums. I even let Gary read the short story about him, and my opening page to my gargoyle novel! I was never really planning on letting him read anything lol, because i was sure he'd hate it. but so far, so good.
Kids are good, Willow is loving school. Maggie is an unholy, defiant terror. Oh, and they got their ears pierced!! (Did I tell you that already??) Willow got some belated birthday money and paid for both hers and Maggie's. I'll send you a pic!
Hmmm let's see, what else....Weight has plateaued, but I know why. Not enough veggies and too much of the fattening stuff, so it's hard to keep my calories at a deficit. This week should be better though, here's to hoping.
For Gary's birthday we are going to one of the state park here to stay in a cabin for a few days. Nothing like the resort cabins we were in before, this is a rustic one and muuuuuuch cheaper. It's basically like tent camping, but you get a cot! No electricity, table is outside, and so is bathroom.
:;:(( <-------This is me crying because I HATE vault toilets (outhouses!) I have to pee so much at night that I may just be squatting over a coffee can instead lol.
And now for some cute pics - We went to an apple picking farm with Gary's parent this weekend. Yes, I had carbs.
That's all for now I think, love you, hope I hear from you soon! I do have more pics but I'll save those for a time I don't have so much chatter. :p Hugs!

I'm glad your feeling better and I'm sorry your feeling worse. Now I know you'll be a famous writer. "Twas the worst of times and the best of times" :P
ReplyDeleteYou didn't tell me about the ears but I do want a picture for sure.
Those are some really cute pictures especially of Maggie!
