I'm one pound down from last week. My calorie goal is actually at 2 lbs per week, but it is very hard for me to meet it (read; I haven't met it yet) so as long as I am losing and improving my health, I am happy for now. Looking forward to seeing a new number in the mix in 3 or 4 lbs.
However, the company came with pastries yesterday, so I fully expect to go back up a half a pound or so! However, I'm going to have one slice of coffee cake, with some coffee of course, and then throw that and the donuts in the trash.
I have to fight feeling wasteful, but it's worth being healthy right?
Part of western society is that there is too much food and that the high density foods are the cheapest. Also our childhood gives us starvation issues. There are times I have ate nothing but donuts for a week because it was all I had. But literally every meal has to be half a donut and they get dry and I'm hungry the entire time. Your not being wasteful, your getting rid of low quality, unfilling, excess food. Your investing in being healthy. After-all do you think skinny people eat donuts? No I have some friends they save them till they get dry and then they throw them away and theye had just one lol
